NOTE: all dates are in South African Standard Time, 9 hours ahead of Pacific Daylight Time!

NOTE: there is only a 17.5 hour window to submit your knockout round pools! (June 25th, 13:30 PDT to June 26th, 07:00 PDT)

for each match, pick a draw*, a winning team, or a team that will win by two or more goals on the entry form (before June 11th, 16:00 SAST).  the table to the right shows how points will be allocated. 

SO... if Spain were to play Portugal, you pick Span W+2, and Spain wins 2-0, 3-1, etc, you gain 6 points; if you pick Portugal W, and the match is a draw, you gain 0 points; if you pick Spain W, and Portugal wins 1-0, you lose 1 point and so on.

* this pool is only for the first round, so draws are ok.  a new pool will be started with the "knockout round", the round of 16.
